Strawberry is based on the Linux operating system, which means that MatrixStore can be easily mounted directly via the MatrixStore File System (MXFS) on Linux. It can equally integrate with MatrixStore via the Server Message Block (SMB) and Network File System (NFS) supplied by Object Matrix. Interfaces are interchangeable.

The combination of MaxtriStore and Strawberry enables media companies to organize their media libraries, whilst being able to easily migrate assets to and from MatrixStore object storage.

Nick Pearce-Tomenius, Sales and Marketing Director, Object Matrix, commented:

Integrated and automated workflows are increasingly important for our customers wishing to exploit the value of their archives. Integrating our media focused hybrid cloud solutions with Strawberry ecosystem provides the market with a perfect platform to manage Adobe or Avid editorial projects from Ingest to archive.

Derek Barrilleaux, CEO, Projective, commented:

Our customers are increasingly looking to monetize their archives. Our approach lets editors drive the archival and retrieval process, and having Object Matrix integrated with Strawberry makes that process seamless and extremely scalable.
